🇦🇹 Beim Wandern in den Donau-Auen bei Hainburg sieht man nicht nur Vögel, sondern kommt auch zu dieser Sehenswürdigkeit: Die Burg Theben (Devín hrad) in der Slowakei vom österreichischen Ufer der Donau aus gesehen.

🇬🇧 When hiking in the Danube floodplains near Hainburg, you not only see birds, but also come across this attraction: Devín Castle in Slovakia, as seen from the Austrian bank of the Danube.

Die Burgruine der Thebener Burg thront als imposante Festungsanlage auf dem Felsmassiv am Zusammenfluss von March und Donau, die man im Vordergrund sieht. Auf dem Felsmassiv, das etwas rechts der Bildmitte zu sehen ist, mit senkrecht abfallenden Felswänden links und vorne sieht man oben die Mauern und die Reste eines Turms aus Stein auf dem man sehr klein Menschen ausmachen kann. Auf der rechten Seite des Felsmassivs ist ein mit Gras bewachsener Hang, der zum Wasser im Vordergrund hin ziemlich steil abfällt. Oben ist eine Steinmauer die zur Ruine gehört. Von dieser Mauer geht nahe dem Felsmassiv eine weitere Mauer über die Wiese Richtung Wasser runter. In die Mauer integriert sind 2 Wachtürme. Am Ufer des Wassers sieht man die Steine der Uferbefestigung der Donau und am Weg darüber einige Leute beim Spazierengehen. Links hinter dem Felsmassiv ein Hang mit Wiese, einigen Baumgruppen und ca in der Mitte des Hanges einige kleine Häuser.
