wow, axios has apparently shifted to not even bothering to tell the whole story, devolving into only the processed bullet points that it puts at the top.

Notice very strikingly that it didn't bother with full quotes in context.

Axios is trash. We should all see the red flags when reading this kind of clickbait headline and sensationalized story.

This is not good for the country.

Is there an official #TheGuardian account on here? Looking it up I see a huge list of potentials but most are bots and it's unclear which is the official one.

Edit: particularly wondering because I read on French news (#LeMonde) that the guardian had 19000 followers on Mastodon.. Where did they get that from?🤔 (lemonde.fr/actualite-medias/ar…)

Edit 2: The Guardian does not link to a Mastodon account from their website which probably means they do not have an official account. However I did email them to let them know they would be welcome on Mastodon / the Fediverse!

So he launched press.coop, and created accounts mirroring the X or RSS feeds of sites he or others from the community wanted to follow. Some accounts got thousands of followers. When our publishers joined the fediverse, Dick and team decided that these publisher-owned accounts might be a more direct way for people to connect with the publisher and their content. So over the next week nearly 100 press.coop accounts will be migrated to official publisher Flipboard.com accounts.
