Musk/DOGE is a widely exposed single point of failure for international security. All it takes is for a state to overcome the personal security of inexperienced barely-post-tweens to essentially access all American information. There is no oversight on how the people's data is being handled. This is the worst kind of attack surface possible.

While many countries are wrestling with retaliatory tarrifs on US stupidity, China is doing a clever thing.
Sure, they slapped a 39% tariff on US goods, but they've also introduced 'export licensing' for a few critical minerals including dysprosium, terbium, tungsten, indium, and yttrium. They've turned off a tap the US didn't realise it relied on.

#HandsOff protests: did any media report how many protesters there were in the US? When we have these in France they are always obsessed by the size buy I can't seem to find an estimation for these ones..
Edit: someone send this #NewYorkTimes article which does a relatively good job of describing the diversity of problems that people protested against, but it doesn't really give an attendance estimate, only the number of people who signed up to participate which was 600 000.
