What the hell is going on here? One of my #macOS started having issues connecting to sites and I realised it was because the time was around 5 years off. I tried a few different time servers but they all seemed to report the same wrong time.

I then manually set the correct time and on re-enabling automatic updates, it goes right back to 2020 again?

If I look out the window I do not see people walking around in masks so I am pretty sure I am not back to the heart of the COVID-19 pandemic

51% said DuckDuckGo, 12% Startpage, 9% Ecosia and 4% Qwant. Only 6% said Google and 1% Bing. 17% said they preferred another search engine, with many mentioning Kagi and Mojeek.

This is quite different from what the market share out there is, which shows how unique you all are here in the Fediverse. You make your own choices and do not follow everyone else. Be proud.

A warning error message from macOS Ventura, a yellow exclamation mark at the top. There is an OK button at the bottom. It reads This computer's local hostname "shortfall-996.local" is already in use on this network. The name has been changed to "shortfall-1287.local". lo change the local hostname, open System Settings, go to General, Sharing, then click "Edit" and type the name in the "Local Hostname" field.
