Für die #52wochenfotochallenge mit dem Thema #Detail war ich gestern mit dem Macroobjektiv im Garten auf der Suche, als mir plötzlich dieses kleine #Taubenschwänzchen am #Winterschneeball vor die Linse flog 😍 Ich hab noch nie so schnell ein Objektiv gewechselt 😅 Diese Tierchen sind hier sehr selten und wenn überhaupt im Hochsommer zu sehen.

Ein Taubenschwänzchen saugt an einer rosa Blüte vor einem azurblauen Himmel. Das Bild zeigt ein Taubenschwänzchen ( *Macroglossum stellatarum*), das mit ausgebreiteten Flügeln vor einer rosafarbenen Blütengruppe schwebt. Der lange Rüssel des Falters ist in die Blüte eingetaucht, während es Nektar trinkt. Die Blüte ist ein zartes Rosa und besteht aus vielen einzelnen kleinen Blüten, die zu einem größeren Blütenstand zusammengefasst sind. Der Stiel der Pflanze ist braun und etwas verholzt. Der Hintergrund des Bildes ist ein klarer, azurblauer Himmel, der einen scharfen Kontrast zu den rosafarbenen Blüten und dem braunen Schmetterling bildet. Die Atmosphäre ist ruhig und friedlich, die Stimmung entspannt und naturverbunden. Das Licht scheint hell und sonnig zu sein. Das Bild vermittelt ein Gefühl von Ruhe und Schönheit in der Natur.

spring cleaning time ... the rolling 1.54.2 APK release to google play is 1.19MB smaller than the previous version. People experienced with longer term development and maintenance will recognize the value of "fewer lines of code and less stuff" to care for. #Spring is coming :)

Lesser #celandine

This cheerful little yellow flower can be found on path edges and woodland floors in early spring. It’s a perennial herb in the buttercup family, with glossy, dark-green, heart-shaped leaves. Often growing in damp areas such as the banks of streams and ditches, it flowers between January and April and is an important source of nectar for queen bumblebees and other early pollinators coming out of hibernation.

#Blackthorn blossom

Blackthorn is one of the earliest trees to produce blossom, flowering in woods and hedgerows with clouds of snow-white petals in March and April. These delicate white flowers, once pollinated, turn into blue-black fruits later in the year – sloes – that are used to make wine, preserves and sloe gin.

A square photo in colour shows the inside of the door in Mai Mai's kitchen. The door itself is a window-door, largely a glass pane, & overtop of the glass is a long, patterned window shade. The shade is in mustard yellow with a print of white daisies with their green stems. The fabric is sturdy waxed cotton, the type often used for tablecloths or overtop of flooring as a protective layer. The shade is actually just a long panel of fabric that's affixed at the top of the door & can be rolled up manually. Pre-made window shades in door length are expensive, so Mai Mai has made this one herself. In photo the bright & direct sunlight is coming through the wrought-iron of the tiny balcony outside the door, the light projected onto the shade, creating a silhouette of three horizontal lines above seven thinner vertical lines all of which make up the balcony's structure. Around the door is the dark-wood doorframe. The moment is calm yet uplifted & cheery.
