SO MANY TIMES I watched idiot fans asking Musk if he was going to do whatever, and he'd even push back to say no that seems unlikely, and they keep pressing until he just says, "Yeah, whatever," and lets them have it.
This is a pattern that has played out so often with so many public figures, and I think with increasing frequency in the social media age.
I wish we were all more aware of it.

Judge Christopher R. Cooper, of the Federal District Court in Washington, determined that the board’s decision to add Trump’s name to the #KennedyCenter violated a #law passed by #Congress in 1964 that made “crystal clear” the institution was to be named for former President #JohnFKennedy.
“Congress gave the Kennedy Center its name, & only Congress can change it,” the judge wrote in a 94-page opinion.
Judge Leonie Brinkema set a hearing for June 12 to hear arguments over whether she should issue a more lasting pause on the government’s efforts to set up the fund, which is being challenged by a diverse coalition of individuals & entities who say they have faced partisan attacks by the #Trump admin but who say they expect to be excluded from accessing the fund.
