A female Wheatear perched on a lichen covered concrete ruin (a remnant of gun emplacement from WW2). With body facing away, the head is turned in profile with one eye looking toward the camera. The dark tones of tail and wing are matched by black patches in the lichen and the warm tones of the rest of the body stand out against the graduated blue background of the darker Irish Sea and lighter sky.

Vulpes vulpes (red fox). This is Lisa. She use to live at the Animal Ark north of Reno, Nevada. The Animal Ark is an ethical animal rescue facility. They don't breed animals for sale to zoos. They are entirely funded by grants and donations.
