"Halfway up The Nose of El Capitan is one of the wildest pendulums in existence"--it's called the King Swing! I shot this way back in 2015 with my Sony a6000 (a CMOS sensor camera) and a 70-200mm lens for a 35mm equivalent of 300mm. Still, it's cropped waaay in. The climber's goal is seen in the fourth frame, grabbing onto a crack in the rock face so they may continue their climb up The Nose and to the top.

A color portrait photo of rock imagery pecked into a canyon wall. The canyon wall is mostly covered in dark patina but someone hundreds of years ago literally pecked the image of (perhaps) a person with their arms extended and pointing downward and their legs spread wide and similarly pointing downward in a ninety degree fashion. The pecking created a salt and pepper look in the figure's body. The head has eyes and a mouth and prominent ears sticking out. (Note: I only describe the image as they are regarded in modern culture for the benefit of those with limited or no vision. Generally, it is not recommended in Visit With Respect guidelines, established by local Natives, to imbue any meaning upon ancient rock images as we are not of the culture that made them.)
