Its hard to claim the UK's anti-terrorism policies are working when the vast majority of those arrested for terrorism-related offences are peaceful protestors protesting on behalf of Palestine Action.

Whatever one might think about the police's anti-terrorism work, its hard to argue this is a good use of time & effort if the aim is to reduce the risk of violent terror attacks in the UK.

Its a waste of money & police time, before we even start on its threat to democracy!

What is it, in this time of age that urges us to expose our lives, publically?

Do we really need to shape the perception of ourselves, in the way other people and society sees us.

Are we so unsecure of who we are, that we need constant validation, often at the expense of our own well being?

When bringing up children and youngsters, don´t we as parents have a duty to empower their self perception and self confidence, without seeking others approval, to be wholesome people in their own right?

This – of course holds the narrative that we ourselves should be good role models and show a good example, not chasing status, status symbols, and prestige?

Ask your self: ‘Does the extensive use of media in any form, TV – Socials and more, prevent us to become whole and wholesome individuals and persons?’

No, the piece gets it EXACTLY backwards. It's BECAUSE of what Congress wrote that the rulings came down that way.

The rulings where emphatically saying that the other branches could not ignore Congress.

The piece seems to admit that "technically" Congress wrote this law. Well, yeah. It Congress's technicalities aren't to be ignored.

This perl clutching is antisocial. The SCOTUS says Congress can't be ignored, and so we need to elect better congresspeople who fix the laws that the SCOTUS is deferring to.

Congress wrote these laws, not the Supreme Court, which is insisting on democracy, even if democracy keeps giving us crappy lawmakers.
