1. Blue flag indicates "consistent onsite presence"
2. Green flag indicates "regular onsite presence"
3. Yellow flag indicates "some onsite presence"
4. Red flag indicates "limited onsite presence"

I can't believe a paid OS needs a tool like this. Here's a GUI tool called OFGB (Oh Frick Go Back) to remove all the ads in Windows 11. It's understandable if a free OS or app needs ad support, but this is just crazy github.com/xM4ddy/OFGB

Extension Manager is the app GNOME Extensions should be. It not only lets you see already-installed extensions and disable/enable them and access their settings like GNOME Extensions does but, get this… (are you sitting down?) it even lets you browse and install new extensions. I mean, I don’t know why you’d ever want to do that but, hey, I guess this is for all the freaks out there… :)

#CVE-2024-20356: #Jailbreaking a #Cisco appliance to run #DOOM

In this adventure, the Cisco #C195 device family was jailbroken in order to run unintended code. This includes the discovery of a vulnerability in the #CIMC body management controller which affects a range of different devices, whereby an authenticated high privilege user can obtain underlying root access to the server’s #BMC (CVE-2024-20356) which in itself has high-level access to various other components in the system. The end goal was to run DOOM – if a smart fridge can do it, why not Cisco?
