If you look at my record in #FOSS, you'll instead find anti-captialist statements & rhetoric for *20 years* about “using the tools of the oppressor against the oppressor” to advance software freedom.

It *feels* easier to boycott anything proprietary until the bitter end. But I'm glad RMS didn't do that, otherwise GCC & GNU Emacs wouldn't exist.

I was able to add a couple more people to my "Linux Audio" collection for those who are doing music production on the Linux platform.

Since people can't be added to collections unless their Mastodon site is using Mastodon 4.6 or higher, I have to add people little by little as their Mastodon sites update.

I’ve been on an audio forum 24 years—it’s a home away from home. As a Linux advocate, I promote it, but one user “weaponizes” AI with negative, argumentative replies to every post I make. Responding creates an endless loop; ignoring him lets him spread false claims and control the narrative, forcing me to engage. The admin hasn’t intervened.

What can be done in this situation?

Ich würde #Tuta aufgrund des #OpenSource-Ansatzes zu gerne nutzen und unterstützen. Leider habe ich erfahren, dass es als "Open Washing" eingestuft wird, da der Code nicht vollständig #FOSS ist und #opensource eher für's Marketing genutzt wird :/
Es wäre nur ein "trust shift" zu einem weiteren Unternehmen, keine echte Unabhängigkeit zu ihnen. Ich hoffe trotzdem, dass sich das in Zukunft noch ändert! @Tutanota
