Sie überspannt den Golf von Korinth und verbindet die Hafenstadt Rio auf der Halbinsel Peloponnes mit Andirrio auf dem griechischen Festland. Die Brücke ist so konstruiert, dass sie schweren Erdbeben und extremen Windgeschwindigkeiten von bis zu 250 km/h standhalten kann. Sie gilt als längste durchgehende Schrägseilbrücke der Welt.

Golden Crown

15:30 late afternoon, mid-November in eastern Iceland, and the sun is setting in the south-west.

Looking north across Berufjörður, the mountains behind us are casting shadows onto the peaks on the opposite side of the fjord. Gradually they have crept up the faces of the mountains, and I have watched, spellbound.

A bizarre mountain named Stöng has a strange spiked pinnacle. For a perfect moment, only the very tip of it is sunset-lit.

The New York photo was taken by me on Friday and the Budapest photo was also taken on Friday by my husband, and edited by me. It's very sweet that he's looking for public art to take photos for me 😊

Right above the trees can be seen a few floors of the Vessel, a sculpture that looks a bit like a beehive with different sets of stairs for people to walk up and see the view. It was a bright sunny day.
Taken on the same day in Budapest where it was very rainy is a photo of a sculpture of a big red apple that has had a bite taken out of it. It is sitting on a gray brick pedestal and has a green leaf sticking out of the stem. It's sitting in the middle of a shopping district. A store or two can be seen in the background with a few people and their umbrellas. Behind the Apple are three table umbrellas but no one is sitting outside because of the rain. The top of the picture shows three large green leaves with raindrops on them. The foreground is mainly gray wet cement and a walkway with some green shrubbery towards the bottom right.

Depuis un pont piéton, un autre pont rouge au jardin japonais Albert Kahn. De l'eau, des arbres, arbustes, marches, un peu de fleurs. Au fond un mec qui m'a empêché de prendre la photo sans lui puisqu'il a traîné longtemps au bout du pont, admirant à juste titre la vue. D'accord, ça m'avait énervé.
