Ich mag den Namen ja. Ist keine Hyazinthe, sondern eine Orchidee, grünlich ist sie auch nicht wirklich und sie wächst auch immer mal wieder außerhalb des Waldes... ;)

Ein Foto von zwei Grünlichen Waldhyazinthen. Die beiden Orchideen stehen im Querformatbild im rechten Drittel. Bis auf die Pflanzen ist alles in Unschärfe gehüllt. Der Vordergrund ist sehr dunkel, fast schwarz. Der Hintergrund besteht aus einem unscharfen Baum im linken Bereich des Fotos, der von der aufgehenden Sonne angeleuchtet wird. Den Rest macht mehr oder weniger strukturiertes Grün des Laubs der Bäume aus, das ebenfalls von der Sonne angestrahlt wird. Die beiden Orchideen stehen im Schatten, sind aber trotzdem recht hell.

I took it while balanced on the edge of a cliff, capturing what was a gloomy canyon scene before we were blown away as the sun cut through the overcast skies. Illuminating the mist and the damp foliage below.

Nature's fireworks 🌸✨

The Flat-crown Albizia (Albizia adianthifolia) a tree native to East and Central African forests. Each bloom is a perfect starburst of silk stamens: white at the base, deepening to rose-purple at the tips. No petals. Just pure botanical drama.

A bright orange, shiny wet "thing" like a flattish lump with warts on top, projecting tubes or tentacles at the sides, a mass of leafy stuff in front. It's the front end of an Orange Sea Cucumber, Cucumaria miniata, projecting out from beneath a rock in the low intertidal zone. The projections at the sides are the tube feet. In front are the extremely branched tentacles around the mouth, at the moment semi-retracted. The rest of the animal is a paler, soft-looking, almost shapeless blob.

Punarinta (Erithacus rubecula) haaraisella puunoksalla sininen taivas taustanaan, nokka täysin auki laulua varten.
Pikkutikkanaaras (Dendrocopos minor) kapealla puunrungolla tutkailemassa löytyiskö jotain syötävää., taustalla lisää puita ja oksistoa.
Uuttukyyhky (Columba oenas) kuusen latvassa, tarkkailee ympäristöä sininen taivas taustanaan.

A wide aspect ration photograph of an archipelago in the Baltic sea. The photograph is taken just over the water surface, facing the sun. The bottom half of the photograph is an out of focus water surface, sparkling in the sun. The surface is full of white bokeh discs, Large at the bottom edge, gradually getting smaller toward the horizon where they vanish and the focus is sharp. Above the water line are a chain of rocky, tree covered islands from edge to edge. On the rightmost and nearest two large pine trees stand, dominating the horizon. The sky behind is dominated by large white clouds with darker soft areas below, from light rain in the distance.

Kellenspitze (2025)

This mountain is the tallest peak in the Tannheimer Alps, here seen from a narrow ridge path in the north east. It was a fabulous warm day with so many mountain flowers in full bloom and clouds forming/drifting between the passes and nearby peaks, later developing into a heavy thunderstorm (thankfully only when I was already descending again...)
