Lots of rain featured by me lately, but here in the SF Bay Area rain is precious and special, and it was a lovely cool gray lightly rainy day. This is from a nearby regional park.

I’m very late but still posting for my #SilentSunday #cinemagraph 🙂

As the sun doth sink 'tween tower and age-old walls,
The plaza basks in gentle, warm orange embrace.
In tranquil eve, the city waits, as nightfall calls,
Preparing for nocturnal symphony to grace.

This calls for another photo of a magnificent dwarf #beech on the grounds of #Wehrden castle (there are two of these rare trees here). Their twisted and stunted growth is due to a genetic defect, though the cause of the mutation remains unknown.

#SilentSunday
something raw and emotional — a meditation on silence, presence, and disappearance, between material and memory, between the physical trace and the fading echo of being...

"Those lines that I before have writ do lie,
Even those that said I could not love you dearer:
Yet then my judgment knew no reason why
My most full flame should afterwards burn clearer."
