A huge pile of bundles of reed. The surface is dominated by the circular cross-sections of countless tubes packed tightly together. The repetitive texture resembles a honeycomb or the cells of an organism when viewed from a distance. The color palette is monochromatic or near-monochromatic, featuring shades of grey, beige, and brown. If you look more closely, you can see the metal wire used to make the bundles as black and white, dotted lines.

October 2025: Lónsfjörður is a shallow tidal lagoon and part of an unique coastal environment, a mix of black sand beaches, rivers, and wetlands ideal for wildlife.

This part of Lónsöræfi (Lón Nature Reserve) supports a range of migratory birds including whooper swans in the summer and autumn, some of which can be seen in this shot.

Eystrahorn in eastern #Iceland, is 756 metres/2,480 feet tall.
