Someone hacked Andrew Tate’s university. The stolen data which includes about 325,000 email address and chatlogs of many members was given to non-profit organization DDoSecrets and is available for anyone to download.
Upon compromise, the hacker inserted pro-transgender emojis onto the site and uploaded AI photos of Andrew Tate with a transgender flag. The compromise of Andrew Tate's website appears to be ideologically motivated, not financially motivated

So I just discovered a Flatpak app called "Mission Center" that seems to be a really cool system monitor application that has several features not present in the default system monitors for many desktop environments. It shows temperatures, clock speeds, etc. In terms of aesthetic, it kinda looks like Windows task manager, but with more bells and whistles. It even has buttons to start, stop and restart running systemd services.

But, we can't do it alone. We'd love to hear which organisations you think should make the move and why, so we can show them that there is a community waiting here for them.
Better yet, if you have a connection to an important organisation, we'd love to be introduced!

Contract or permanent, part time or full time, doesn’t matter! I’ve learned a lot of Rust recently and am proficient in C++, C, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, shell, Linux, Cloud stuff, HPC, chemistry, simulations, MPI and scaling! Mostly backend but I can, and have, done full stack work on React!
What I’m mostly looking to do is help build software that helps people, so I’m NOT interested in “AI”, defense, finance, oil+gas, startups, or anything of that sort. If you know of open positions or even if you’re looking for someone to help on a project, let’s chat! I make a mean fucking #jupyterNotebook, too.
I am also totally available to tutor chemistry, too.
Boosts welcome and appreciated!
